(1) The Procuring Agency has asked Rs.3.0 Million as bid security which is less than 1% of estimated cost mentioned in the APP. Procuring agency is to ensure that bid security required is not less than 1% and not exceeding 5% in terms of Rule-37 2) minimum marks has been assigned for Annual Turn over upto Rs.400 Million, which is excessive and may violate Rule-44 of the SPP Rules, 2010. 3) 120-days of validity period is mentioned whereas as per Rule-38 bid validity shall not be more than 90-days in case National Competitive bidding. 4) The Procuring Agency shall verify from the list of blacklisted firms available on the website of SPPRA (https://pprasindh.gov.pk/blacklistfirms.php) that the firm/bidder/contractor is not blacklisted or debarred. Advisory All Procurement Committee members are advised to set up their PIN codes by following the steps below: Step 1: Log in to your e-PADS account. Step 2: Navigate to the User Management menu and select the Set PIN option. Step 3: Create a 6-digit PIN code and save it. Step 4: Upon saving the PIN, an OTP will be sent to your registered email address. Step 5: Check your email inbox, enter the OTP received, and confirm the PIN setup. Once successfully configured, the PIN may be used for authentication in place of OTPs, thereby minimizing delays caused by email delivery issues. Important: Users are advised to keep their PIN confidential and secure at all times. The PIN should not be shared with any other person, as unauthorized use may result in misuse of the user's account and actions performed therein.
